↑ My event is right around the corner, is it too late?
Hopefully not! We do last minute work all the time and have become quite comfortable with jobs on a short timeline. Be it an editing job that needs a quick turnaround or a wedding only a week away we look forward to helping you with your next project.
↑ How can I find out if you're available for my event?
Contact us! Each section of our site has a contact form (events), or you can see all of our contact information here! We'll get back to you within 24 hours, and usually, within just one or two!
↑ My event isn't local - what is your usual work area?
Interlace Communications routinely works anywhere in Connecticut and the metro-NYC area and where arrangements are made, will travel absolutely anywhere.
↑ Do you travel and do destination events?
Yes. Interlace Communications has traveled coast to coast in the United States as well as internationally for clients. Making sure that our gear makes it through customs and to it's destination safely and on time will not be a problem.
↑ I'm looking for a subtle videographer, do you have to get right up close?
One of the bedrock principals of Interlace Communications is to capture the moment, without being a part of it. With high-end wireless audio gear and impressive zoom lenses, we are able to stay well away from the action without the video looking like we're far away.
↑ Do you use lighting when shooting, and if so, what kind?
Ideally, no. We have some of the best low light cameras out which allows us to use lighting as sparingly as possible. When lighting is necessary, we have dimmable on camera lights so that we only need to turn them up as bright as is absolutely necessary.
↑ How long does it take to get my final edited DVDs?
That depends greatly on a number of factors but we usually say 6 weeks from the date of the event to get a final edited product. As this question answers, we can do rush jobs and meet time-sensative deadlines.
↑ Can I order additonal copies of a video?
Certainly, additional copies are available and we are able to produce as many as is necessary.
↑ Are copies available in other formats besides DVD or Blu-Ray?
Where necessary we can provide video on just about any format including DVD, Blu-Ray, MiniDV, VHS, SVHS, ¾" Tape.
↑ How long has Interlace Communications been in business?
Interlace Communications, LLC was officially filed with the state in the summer of 2007; however, our entire team has been working in television/video for many years.
↑ How many people are on your staff?
We pride ourselves on being large enough to take on almost any project while being small enough to travel to client's homes and offices to sit down and really discuss what the perfect solution is. We have three freelance editors and currently have five part time videographers.
↑ What types of events has your staff worked on?
In addition to dozens of private events, the staff at Interlace Communications has worked on:
↑ I have a video project that's not listed here, do you work on other projects as well?
Absolutely! We have staff that can tackle just about any video project out there, from remastering DVDs, restoring footage, custom edit jobs, promotional footage, television commercials, full concerts and everything in between - our staff has done it all, and will gladly do it again!
